Jingfeng Song, Esq. is an experienced attorney with his law office located in the northern suburb of Chicago, Illinois. He is the founder of SciNova IP and Regulatory Consulting LLC. Mr. Song’s law practice encompasses a broad range of legal fields including intellectual property law, real estate transaction, estate planning, business law, and civil litigation in federal and state courts. He counsels clients about some vital topics in their lives and careers such as how to effectively protect intellectual property right, how to safely pass heritage to the next generation while maintaining their own financial security, and how to maximize gain and minimize loss during real property transaction while pursuing their business and academic goals in the United States. Mr. Song also provides consultation to clients when they have civil disputes with other parties and negotiates settlement on their behalf.
Mr. Song has acquired experience on intellectual property litigation by working with leading international law firms in patent infringement law suits. He has successfully defended clients and helped them to recover damages in federal and state courts. Mr. Song has also helped clients to successfully apply and register numerous trademarks, patents, and copyrights in the United States. Prior to starting his legal career, Mr. Song was a research scientist in Abbott Laboratories, Inc. During his tenure with the company, he has participated in numerous projects of new drug development and won awards for his dedication to significant improvements of several medical drugs and products. Mr. Song is a co-inventor of a pharmaceutical patent and a packaging patent application.
Mr. Song earned his law degree from DePaul University College of Law in 2011. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Science from St. John’s University and a Bachelor of Science degree in China.
